Christian Peacemaker Teams is a name that may be familiar to you since the news that the British peace activist Norman Kember has been kidnapped along with three colleagues working with the Christian Peacemaker Teams in Iraq. The heading at the top of their website reads,

"What would happen if Christians devoted the same discipline and self-sacrifice to nonviolent peacemaking that armies devote to war?"

This seems like a good question to me.
