What 'Rubbish' can you Reuse?

Julie Holland suggests the following:

· Re-use envelopes

· Pass unwanted / old computers onto schools or there are organisations that will collect old equipment and send it to other countries.

· Pass Magazines on to others or give to your local Drs / Dentist etc.

· Donate things to a local charity shops .

· Sell unwanted items Ebay www.ebay.co.uk You will be amazed at what you can sell.

· If you have old clothes, donate to friends, sell at an NCT sale (for childrens clothes) sell on Ebay or donate to a charity shop.

- Unwanted bras in good condition are in demand. The BreastTalk.co.uk Bra Appeal is asking for all your old bras as long as they are in good condition and straps and clasps are in good working order. Send them to us and we can distribute them to charities throughout the UK and overseas.

· If you have unwanted toys you can sell them at NCT sales, donate to hospitals (may need to be brand new due to health reasons) or donate to charity shops.

· Swap / give away unwanted items. There are various websites that you can use to offer items you don’t use anymore for swapping. A local one is the Surrey Swap it site, which can be found at http://www.swapitsurrey.org/ The service is free of charge and you state what you want in return for the item and if it has to be collected etc.
